No, I couldn't think of a better name :)

A small Gameboy game, made in 1 week for GBJAM 8. Clear blocks before they reach the top of the screen, and don't get crushed! Falling blocks can be destroyed with rockets, landed blocks can only be destroyed with dynamite. Clear all blocks for extra points and to advance to the next level.

Nice slant on the original, character moves very smoothly and I can tell it's a game that you can pick up and play, but would take time to master. Very hard to make a challenging game feel fair, and this one does!

If I could change one thing, I think I'd make 'up' the generic jump command, and reassign the dynamite to the B/A area, because playing on a keyboard makes repeatedly accessing select (right shift?) a bit more awkward, but as it is, it just takes practice. And could be less challenging on native hardware or with a controller.

Thanks so much for making it!

This is so fun!! Love how you can shoot down to propel yourself into the air haha :D

Thank you for playing :)

Love this game and playing on the Gameboy! How many actual levels are there???

Thanks for playing!

There are 7 different levels, but afterwards they loop again from the beginning. So technically there is no end. But if I remember correctly it also gets a little bit faster with every level, so at some point it is probably impossible ;)
